March 8th, 2006 · No Comments

WiFi is fast becoming the newest and hottest commodity all over the globe. Not only for the users but for those who wish to cash in it as a potential business venture. So for the benefit of those who wish to take advantage of the business potential of WiFi, here are some simple tips to smoothly sail through.

However, before your business turned into a hotspot you need to secure 2 things first. One is the Hotspot Kit, and this should include hardware, software as well as a remote monitoring. Meanwhile the other is a High Speed Internet or whichever is suitable to you, either DSL, T1, or DS3 connectivity.

Now before you go out to order your hotspot kit, you need to figure out first what type of service you’ll need: Single Access Point or Multiple Access Point. If you’re wondering how to determine the number of connection points you need, well it usually depend on the amount of area that you want to make available for wireless internet access. For instance a bigger hotel will require about an average of one access point for every 20 rooms, whereas a small cafe can sufficiently service their patrons with just a single access point.
